In today’s productive and competitive world, some people think that a high salary is the most important aspect of a job, while others believe that pleasure plays the main role in having a long-term and stable career. From my point of view, the most important aspect of any occupation is job satisfaction.
Big salaries are a very good motivation to work harder, but if you work at a job that you don’t like, it can become a huge problem. After a while, you will start to hate your job, lose motivation, and stop getting any pleasure from it. For example, research conducted by IMC University showed that 50% of workers with high wages quit their jobs because they were tired and lost the desire to continue. This shows that first of all, you need to choose a profession that you truly like.
Also, if you work at a job you enjoy and get good emotions and satisfaction from it, this will positively affect your professional skills, because every day you will have motivation for self-development and further achievements. After some time, big companies that are looking for good employees will notice you. For example, my history teacher, who had a lot of experience, was invited to the private school “Universe” and was offered a higher salary. So, if you truly enjoy your work, success and recognition will come naturally.
