Band 5+: children are enjoying more freedom these days than ever before . Is this is a positive or negative development?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Now-a-days children are relishing release as they never enjoy in the past. Although some might consider it negative, I believe it to be extremely beneficial. Not only because it gives confidence and enhance problem solving skills but also because of freedom children feel independent.

There are multiple advantages associated with children freedom in this modren world. Firstly, it builts up confidence level in children lives and it can be considered as the leading benefit of this development. As many adults cannot face the difficulties and hardships in this heactic world because when they were in their childhood , their parents didn’t allow them to made decisions for their career, which leads them to having a week character. Take an example of Japan, in 2018, where parents allowed their children to took part in millitary defence program which was held by senior millitary cheif, from this activity all the children became more confident and set a goal to protect their motherland in future. Thus, this mega benefit I believe has the potential to make this developement a positive evolution.

Secondly, apart from building confidence levels in children lives, anaother major positive outcome of freedom is that it enhances the skills of problem solving in children brains which can also be a very beneficial . As many children cannot take part properly in school activities just due to lack of information of topic and don’t know the solution of problems which effects their grades and have a negative impact on career opportunities. For instance, a survey was conducted in 2002, in United kingdom, where Child education committee examined 9 to 12 year old children and tested their intellegence level . In result, 80% of children didnot know about the basic concepts of mathematics and they can’t solve the problems , committee decleared in the parliment that parents weren’t giving oppertunities to their children which led them to a congested life. After all these observations, government announced to open special training insitutes for all the young children to built up their personalities and introduce them with technologies which helps them in problem solving . Hence, freedom in children life can help them in solving their problems by themselves that can be labelled as the most significant advantage, giving this development a beneficial feedback.

Finally, becoming independent can also be considered a leading benifit in children freedom. As learning skills can open doors of job oppertunities in every part of the world . Good employment make them indepented in future.

To sumup, even though children freedom might have some drawbacks too, but I believe that th benefit it brings in terms of confidence levels, problem solving skills and independent life in future can make this spreed an overall positive one.

Due to technological advancements, some individuals believe that the government should impose strict laws to limit children’s prolonged screen exposure. I strongly disagree with this view because, rather than imposing strict laws, parents should be primarily responsible for regulating their offspring’s screen time. Firstly, parents are more likely aware of their children’s lifestyle, mindset and […]
