Education plays an important role in our lives. In some countries, the education system for children is costly so, mostly students cannot afford it. Therefore, the government should pay part or even all of the cost, so that low-level students can get the education and they can secure their own futures. I believe that the merits outweigh the demerits.
There are many merits about to education, such as increased confidence levels and awareness about the economic level. More people get the education then they able to earn the money, so it is beneficial for economy’s growth. Mostly, people get the secondary education then pursue higher education if they can afford it. They achieve their goals because they are financially strong and can get an education easily.
On the other hand, it is true that there are more drawbacks but one is that education is too costly, secondly, there is pressure on national budget. So, government can have extra money to children’s education. Moreover, parents do not appreciate the fee of schooling. They think that their children do not need to go to school and just find a job to make a living.
The government should give fully or partially funded scholarships to universities for needy students. The government should organize schemes related to educational gadgets such as laptops, books, and some other educational material. This type of policy helps the students for achieve the goals who cannot afford educational expenses.
In conclusion, the benefits of free education can be advantageous to low level of income and individuals the development of the whole economy.
