Today , in different corners the world, there is an ongoing debate about payment for education , with some arguing that students have to pay tuition fees for higher education, and others who think that the government has to cover the cost. While free education provides equal opportunities for everyone, I believe that paying for university can also have important benefits.
On the one hand, when students pay their college or university fees they tend to value education more than those who do not pay. Paying tuition fees often motivates students to study hard and take their studies seriously. My country Uzbekistan can be an example of this performance, there are many students work part-time to pay for their tuition, which helps them develop financial responsibility and independence.
On the other hand, the aspect that cannot be overlooked is university fees which can also limit access to education for people from low-income families. For example there are a lot of talented students who cannot afford to study because of lack of money, which can lead to inequity . If they have the opportunity to study, they can benefit the state.
In conclusion, while free education provides fairness and accessibility, I
believe that paying tuition has more long term benefits because it encourages responsibility and hard work among students.
