The major threat faced by humanity is climate change. In past few years, we had observe a drastic change in weather causing harmful effects. The updated lifestyle, immigration, and likewise there are multiple reasons for this change. To save the Earth from this damage, the contribution of government and people is important.
As per the research the major cause is deforestation, which is at its peak. Decreased forest areas causing lower rainfall percentage eventually resulting in situations like drought. In addition, it also affects the carbon dioxide level in the air causing air pollution. However, the major source is the increased traffic and toxic gases released by the factories. Ultimately, it causes global warming, sudden rainfall, and sometimes a cold wave. Analysing this life threatening condition, one should contribute towards the betterment of environment.
As said, “Prevention is better than cure”; people should plant as many as trees in the neighbourhood. The government bodies can organize campaign like ‘Green Earth’ to increase the forest area. Not only plantation, but also proper care of that plant needs to be taken. Moreover, people can use public transport or carpool to minimize the pollution. Government should impose strict regulations to the industries generating harmful biproducts.
To sum up, not only government but, the role of individual in saving the earth is necessary. We should implement every possible solution to avoid natural disasters.
