Nowadays, in many countries people from countryside are moving to cities. This cause population in rural area to fall down. In my opinion, this is negative development because it bring many problems for both cities and villages.
Firstly, when people leave villages, there is not enough workers in agriculture and farming. For example, in my country, many young people go to capital for better jobs and education, and old people stay in countryside. As a result, no one wants to work on the land and grow food. It can be problem for economy and food production in future.
Secondly, when too much people move to the cities, this create overpopulation. Big cities become crowded, there is more traffic, pollution and not enough houses for everyone. For example, in big cities like Mumbai or Cairo, people live in very small rooms or slums there is no enough space.
In conclusion, I think this movement from countryside to city is more negative than positive. Government should help people in rural areas so they don’t need to go to city for better life.
