Band 5+: Doing exercises regularly guarantees to stay as fit as fiddle. When individuals, those especially old generations tired of working or life challenges, engage in various exercises such running or swimming, Many doctors recommend that older people exercise regularly, but most patients do not follow an exercise routine. Why do you think this happens? What are the solutions ?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Over the last few years, in different corners of the world, it has become commonplace to witness older people not to obey the recommendation in terms of fitness routine given by doctors.

While not doing exercises is driven by old people’s getting accustomed to sedentary lifestyle from early ages, I believe by motivating them and encouraging in various of exercises through organizing some competitions, it is possible to solve this issue. The basic contributing factor to the prevalence of this phenomenon is old generation’s being bombarded with a job and physical conditions. Initially, the majority of older adults may face a challenge to accomplish physical exercises because of not regularly doing training before, ultimately laying a foundation for a feeling of pain. A case in point is my country, Uzbekistan, where the greater part of old generations are suggested to do some exercises in order to avoid of issues, such as cardiovascular or chronic diseases. However, they still spend an excessive amount time working so as to make as much revenue as possible in their lives, meaning that they do not keep a balance between work and rest, neither are they willing to do fitness drills.

Aside from health issues and job, laziness is also one of the major reason interfacing and inhibiting them from starting the training, which paves a way for precluding them of a willingness to engage in exercises. Although most of the old adults are pensioners, they prefer to spend their time watching TV and reading books or newspapers rather than going for physical activities since they think about short-term fun forgetting about consequences. This, in turn, may lead to lose strength from time to time, thereby making the body and organs unproductive due to lack of blood circulation, finally opening the door to serious ramifications.

Turning to the solutions, government or community centers should organize sport competitions, such as swimming and running, among older people with the promise of rewards. This is primarily to install and foster the interest in people’s heart in terms of exercises. For instance, Finland, where sports competitions are annually by the government to enhance the number of healthy people, on the basis of which this country is well-known for ranking first with regarded for the highest number of healthy and happiest old generations. In that country, healthcare professionals offer personalized exercise plans for every single one of the patients.

To conclude, in spite of that fact that it is complex to mitigate the challenges to encourage old populations for exercises, aforementioned strategies might propel the solutions towards.
