Band 5+: Due to the use of the computers and mobile phones, letter-writing ability is disappearing. To what extent do you agree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

It is believed by some people that the letter-writing skills are disappearing because of high usage of the computer and mobile phones. I strongly believe that these adaptations are not affecting the ability, whereas it benefits an individual in sending letters, emails without errors, and also aids in transferring the messages quickly.

The main reason why people use digital devices to write a letter is because it aids in transferring the messages within a fraction of time. Also, due to the incline in the technology many companies and other professionals shifted from traditional writing methods to virtual mode. For example, at present, people are finding it easy to connect with anyone across the world. Thus, it does not affect an ability whereas, it increases in building up the relationship with humans.

The second reason is that sending digital messages becomes evidence for many people. It brings advantages for individuals in getting away from a treathful situation. For instance, Human Resources are mostly using the digital platform to send emails. Moreover, it becomes a digital record for them which prevents them from falling from a threathful situation.

In addition, there is a high possibility for humans to make more grammatical errors when following the traditional method of writing. To avoid such issues, there are plenty of artificial intelligence tools available on online platforms. For example, it doesn’t reduce the ability in writing, moreover it makes us understand the mistakes people cause during writing.

In conclusion, I would like to reiterate that by using the computer and smartphones to write a letter, it benefits the community in holding it as an electronic evidence, reduces errors while writing, and moreover connects people immediately without much delay.
