In the 21st century, there is a view that employees ought to be given at least a month’s holiday a year by their bosses to enable them to work better at work. Personally, I fully agree with this notion for two primary reasons: one is physical improvement and the second is spending time with their families.
One reason why employers should give a holiday to their workers is that they can improve their physical conditions. When employees have a rest from their jobs, they can engage in training their bodies by doing exercises in outdoor facilities and gyms. Doing so can help them reduce health-related problems such as chronic diseases and illnesses, and foster their immune system by working out. With this kind of robust health, they can perform better in their workplaces, such as in labour-demanding roles, thereby resulting in gaining immediate promotions among employees by demonstrating their determination and commitment to their jobs.
Moreover, staff’s family time is another argument. As they are given some time to rest from their workplaces, they can spend their time with their family units satisfyingly. This is because they do not need to think about their jobs during their vacation and can mainly focus on their families, as they can have a good time travelling to other countries and watching TV together, both of which really improve their mood. Consequently, with their good mood, they can enjoy the process of working in the long run in their jobs. A case in point is workers in Uzbekistan. Most of them travel to renowned countries like Dubai, the USA, and the UK, resulting in spending time with their families and improving their mood. This then largely affects their work, as they can satisfy their leaders with good outcomes in workplaces.
In conclusion, it is my firm conviction that staff should be allocated a 4-week holiday to recover their physical conditions and spend time with their family units, thus leading to better performance among workers.
