Many believe that getting degree is a guarantee for a successful career,while others claim to be successful we do not need to attend university. I believe some people can find their place in life even without a degree, however studying at university has a much more advantages.
There are lots of examples ,such as Steve Jobs and Ilon Mask, which people use to prove that having a good job or running a business do not require a special degree. Even after graduating school people can get job which can provide enough money to their needs in life. For instance, Ilon Mask became a billionaire in his fourties not after getting a qualification,and this proves acquired experience is more valuable than diploma. Despite this, it does not guarantee that everyone can do the same thing, but more importantly there are some fields which can not be done without a special knowledge.
However, despite experience plays a crucial role in the fields of career, degree can give us opportunities, such as to work in places which we choose and where we find ourselves passionate. If we study at university we will find jobs easier and it meets our requirements to employment. Besides, today every employers raise their standards towards employees because of the fast-paced environment. And more and more people try to adapt this standards.
To sum up, I think people need to avoid the risks in their life and take a qualification to their own good.
