Currently the question of whether supporting extremely low privieleged families with housing is the responsibility of the government, is a controversial debate among people from 2 varied backgrounds. I am convinced about the vital role of housing in one’s entire life and perceive that, there is a must for the state to ensure citizens lead their life in a proper place.
Governments are expected to provide free housing for people below poverty line due to various reasons. Initially, no matter the financial state, a person living in a country is its citizen, which indicates the strong obligation of the nation to support its residents in many areas. Moreover, countries are estimated financially based on the average payment of all people residenting there. As a result, the decline in the homeless depicts rather significant increase on financial side of the nation.
Furthermore, some problems can be prevented and tackled owing to this investment. Namely, homeless people are convinced to suffer from relatively many illnesses and ailments due to poor conditions, which promotes the expectancy and probability of growth in the number of infectious diseases.
