Receiving the CFA Access Scholarship would be a decisive step in my pursuit of the CFA designation, enabling me to advance my expertise in financial analysis and investment strategies without the financial burden. Throughout my academic and extracurricular experiences, I have developed a foundation in finance. Firslty I conducted Information Memorandum for Intel Corp, taking charge of the financial analysis, including calculating and vizualizing financial ratios, and valuations and LBO modeling in an M&A contest. Secondly in a fintech simulation contest my role is to optimize portfolio construction under strict regulatory constraints sush as UCITS and ESG criteria. These experiences coupled with my father’s interest and work to the IT companies reinforced my ambition to work in venture capital, where strategic financial insights drive long-term investments in innovative companies.
However, achieving the CFA designation is essential to reaching this goal. The program’s rigorous curriculum aligns directly with the analytical, ethical, and risk management skills required in venture capital and private equity. With my family’s financial constraints, this scholarship would provide the crucial support needed to access high-quality study materials and fully commit to the program allowing me to achieve the full charter by 2027.
Beyond personal advancement, earning the CFA charter will position me to contribute meaningfully to the financial industry, particularly in fostering responsible investment strategies. This scholarship is not just an opportunity—it is the key to unlocking the next stage of my professional journey.
