It is widely believed that there would be much more cooperation and harmony between staff if companies gave equal wages regardless of their role in job. Personally, I partly agree with these viewpoints. I think that employers should earn what they deserve based on their work and there are many ways of encouraging staff to cooperate in harmony and in this essay will investigate why I came up with this idea.
To begin with there is a significant difference between contribution of employees to their company, such as managers, and cleaner. Managers always have greater responsibilities and working hours than ordinary staff, which means that their income must be far bigger. For example, companies tend to raise salaries of some workers who are very dedicated and approach responsibly to their job. Furthermore, jobs like cybersecurity demand training, certification, etc. To fulfill this demand some people, go to universities spending their precious time and money to gain experience and knowledge to work. The best way to justify their work is they must be paid fairly.
Regarding the increase in the unity of collaboration of staff, some companies pay special attention and motivate their staff, so they become less jealous and competitive and as a result they do not compare their salary, which means fewer conflicts. For example, every team member feels equal and works towards shared goals which improves their spirit to work. In addition, managers are responsible to staff and company which means higher responsibly and their work is to hold unity between workers throughout many ways such as giving vocation. Increasing communication is also one of the best ways to reduce inner conflicts and enhance support and teamwork in the company.
In conclusion, giving fair wages to employees such as managers is companies responsibility. Managers’ work is to maintain cooperation, teamwork and unity among staff.
