It is argued that a majority of learners should complete the first level of education only in several nations where the jobless level is increasing. Hence, it is not essential for them to continue secondary school to those who are incapable of seeking their jobs. I do not concur this statement because children are future pillars of a nation and this will have negative impacts on all aspects of the current society and in the future.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that students ending up primary education may close the door to better employment opportunities. Both underdeveloped and developed nations appreciate well-educated and skilled labor. It is clear that primary school level is only a rudimental foundation of numerical and mathematical skills which merely use in daily life. While, some professional jobs such as doctors, teachers need to be trained to do well. As a result, it is challenging for children to land a decent job in the increasingly competitive market labor these days. They just can participate in blue-collar-workers such as construction workers, tailors.
On the other hand, some countries only provide students with basic education may get stuck in poverty and backwardness. The reason is that education is the key to creating innovations, technology and high- quality workforce which increase the effectiveness of work and accelerate economic growth. The elimination of secondary school will go up the illiteracy rate and the deprivation of cognitive, mental and social developments of younger generations of a nation.
Some people believe that offering further education without any hope of finding a job is a waste of time and money. It is a short-sighted view as school leavers turn to crime after dropping out of primary school. Therefore, attending higher education ensure their maturity to start their life and protect them against temptations in society such as pickpockets, drugs.
In conclusion, I believe that each citizen has the right to go on their education, even further education to develop their own career path as well as economy of a country in general. Stopping their education at primary school will have detrimental effects on all facet of life in the society.
