Today, in many parts of the world, traffic jams are a main issue. This situation has a number of causes and that can be improved through different solutions.
There are a number of factors cause to traffic congestion. One possible reason is the growing population. In recent decades, more and more individuals moved to urban areas, as a result, the number of cars on the road increased,caused to trafic jams. Another important reason for increasing the traffic is the use of the private vehicle. As an example, one family with five members, each person has own car, which increases traffic on the roads.
One possible solution for the first issue that,limit the use of vehicles on certain days. For example, cars with even-numbered licence plates can be allowed on the road on even days, cars with odd-numbered plates can be on odd days. Thus,this rule can help to reduce the number of cars on the roads, and help traffic congestion. On the other hand, there is a possible way to decrease traffic jams for the second problem is that government should take a measure to encourage families to use public transportation which can decrease the number of vehicles on the road.
To sum up, the provided situation happens due to some reasons such as populations, using of cars and when certain solutions successfully applied, can the problem solved.
