Band 4+: In many countries, childhood obesity is a growing problem. What are the reasons for this and what can individuals and governments do to tackle the problem?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Obesity has been a growing concern in modern epoch especially increasing in the children. Fast food and lethargic activity are the biggest cause of overweight. The individuals should keep an eye on their childs diet plan and government should increase taxes on high sugar-content eateries.

Firstly, the major reason that has resulted in the spread of obesity among teenagers is the addiction to eating at the resturants and from school canteens as well. The food provided id=s rich in calories and unbeownst to its taste it provides more harm to the body than hitting on the taste buds. not only this, but the bad diet plans have made the children a couch potato and they have shifted to eating, sitting and sleeping activities. playing videogames all days with no exposure to the outdoor games has turned their bellies hanging out.

The solution lies in the self control and the greatest individual role would be of parents that can stop their kids from the harm of junk and unhealthy food. Mothers could make the homemade delicacies that are prepared keeping calories consideration colud help them break the chain. Government need to increase the taxes on unhealthy items as in the UK being implemeted. Plus school teachers should involve students in the sports activities and dietary plans. that can be a transit to a healthy living standard.

In conclusin, I posit that both individual and governmental level efforts are required to overcome the burgeoning cause of obesity in school- going children. Strict taxations, parents monitoring their child and school teachers involving them in outdoor plays would energize and burn out their fats to keep them active and healthy
