Realistically, with the society’s development, educational institutions and specialised hospitals are considered to be the necessities of humans. However, these facilities only are located in urban areas in all countries, to equalise these facilities among the citizens, some people think that graduated teachers and doctors should work in the countryside to get more experience during their first job life. Whereas, others believe that the working place should be chosen freely by individuals. Although both views hold merit, I agree more with the former perspective.
On the one hand, when the government comes up with a regulation for disposing of new teachers and doctors to rural areas, it will make significant changes. In the countryside, there is a shortage of facilities and specialists leading to a lack of access to quality care and education. By mandating professionals to work in these regions, people can put trust in high-quality teachers and medical services when getting in touch with them. This distribution can also bridge the gap between citizens by providing equal opportunities for education and healthcare. Moreover, working in rural areas is a good step for professionals in the career path by providing valuable experience, which can encourage them to follow their choice and allow them to develop their skills in their own ways. Therefore, they’ll be ready to get over the challenges and take responsibility for citizens and their job, which can contribute to personal and professional growth.
On the other hand, some people believe that new teachers and doctors have the right to decide where they want to work, this choice also depends on lifestyle and personal preference. For instance, some individuals prefer to work in urban environments, where they can access social facilities or higher living standards. Therefore, they can feel comfortable to contribute themselves to their job and promote extreme ability. On the contrary, if teachers and doctors are forced to work in environments that they do not like, these jobs will become unattractive leading to lack of human resources in these fields in the future.
In conclusion, while some object to force professionals to work in particular areas, I still believe that new teachers and doctors should work in rural areas for a few years, not only because of equal services but also because of professionals growth.
