In modern society many individuals started buying number of household goods due to their convinience in daily life. I strongly belive that their pros outweight drawbacks and this essay will explain my view in more detail.
To begin with, such technologies as microwave oven, rice cooker and more, can make people’s lifes much more comfortable and esier. As many daily problems and responsabilities can be quickly solved with the assistance of household goods. This wide range of challenges from clean the home, cook a dinner and wash dishes. However with everyday essentials these duties can be done without hard labour. For example, earlier, to heat the food people used stove, that require much time to warm up, however with microwave oven we do not need to reheat it anymore, which frees up our time. Moreover, with such domestic items people can spend their free time on interests and activites. When general tasks can be briskly completed, individuals recive more time on important things like occupations, hoddies, children and the like. This help them to balance their personal and work life.
Nevertheless, on the other side, these items can have negative influence on people, making them more lazier. We are accomplishing routine tasks less due to thechnologies which in long-term will reduce our autonomy. This can lead to dependence on household goods. However, people do not loss much of their autonomy because these appliances require our assistance. For instance, for the washing mashine, we have to load clouthes into it and after hang it up. Hence we still do some work but we spend less time on this
