Concentration in school is crucial for a child’s educational success. However, many children today struggle with concentrate on their education. In my opinion, the main reason for this problem is lack of sleep and the rise of technology using, besides we can solve this problem by giving students new rules.

On the one hand, nowadays students, children make every effort to increase their concentration skills. But schools usually are opened early ,such as 7am and 8 am.For that reason students cannot sleep well.Lack of sleep can decrease their success and concentration. Additionally, technology can also be a reason for declining concentration. Recently, usage of smartphones, computers are increased by especially students and children. Every students has their own phones now and with the help of phone they should use it for their education rather than playing a game, or using a social media. Nevertheless most students use smartphones for chatting or social media. That’s why during the lesson in school, their thoughts are only phones, only their messages. It causes students distracting to their lesson. For example, nowadays researchers searched usage of smartphones. As a result, they concluded that the highest proportion of usage phones is by students. They only access in social media and games by phone.

On the other hand, in order to solve the problem of attention in school, firstly of course it is important to promote health habits ,such as getting enough sleep. The parents of students should teach the children at what time they have to sleep.Secondly teachers and parents can also work together to limit distractions, such as turning of devices during study time or limit their access in social media by putting a time on their phone.Parents have to permit the children only when they need to look for something about their subject. For example, students from University of Cambridge made a difference between usage of smartphones without controlling by parents and with controlling by parents. They made a diagram and it indicated that, when parents made limited hours for using phones to their children, in future, those kinds of students could succeed in their life. But the children who use smartphones whatever they wanted, they did not have any concentration to focus on their education or work.

In conclusion, in my opinion, lack of sleeping and rise of technology usage can decrease concentration in school, but with the help of teacher and parents and their rules, this problem can be removed.
