Band 5+: In many countries today young people are forced to get a job which they are not suited to or passionate about. What do you think may be the reasons for this? What problems might this cause?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays youth are required to take a job that they do not match with their skills or interests. This essay will discuss the reasons of this issue and the problems it may lead to.

There are some reasons for this issue. One of them is financial necessity and the need for money. I believe that a person who has an education can work the job they want, because they chose this field themselves, and passionate about it. However, every person has different finances, some people have the opportunity to study, while others do not. Therefore many young people are forced to take the jobs they do not want because of lack of education. Additionally, they cannot pursue professions that require university degrees and licenses, such as doctor, teacher and others.

On the other hand this causes some issues.

One of them is youth can’t do their work well because they do not want it also they haven’t got any motivation to do this. Thus, they can’t concentrate on their employment and can cause problems to the company. More importantly, hiring a person who is not suited to the job perfectly can result in a huge cost while an appropriate candidate for a job can make more benefits.

In conclusion, from my point of view, forcing young people into jobs, regardless of the reasons, can lead to several problems.

The government should provide free public transport 24/7 to reduce traffic congestion. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

With the prevalence of traffic congestion, people contend that governments should be responsible for the provision of a public transport system 24/7 to alleviate congested roads. I largely support this view because of the potential benefits it offers, ranging from access to public transport services on a 24-hour basis to reduced carbon emissions. One such […]

While some fathers and mothers provide their dependents with a foreign language during their childhood years, others may disagree.
