In today’s fast-paced world, a wide range of issues have sparked intense debates and diverse opinions. Among these, the best food for people to choose is a particularly contentious topic. While some argue that traditional food is delicious and healthy, others believe that fast food is better. This essay will explore both perspectives and present my own opinion on the matter.
On the one hand, despite the undesirable consequences of eating fast food, it’s a suitable choice. First, in their view, fast food is convenient. We can see KFC restaurants on most big city streets. Instead of cooking, people with busy lifestyles can choose fast food for less than 10 dollars. For example, when you go back from work and need to recharge your battery with food at 5 p.m., you decide to go to eat fast food or buy fresh food at the market and cook it at home. Your response is the reason why fast food is substantially chosen.
Conversely, from my perspective, the popularity of fast food across the globe brings negative consequences to societies, so traditional food is a better choice. Moreover, local food is an irreplaceable part of any culture. We can not imagine Vietnam without Banh mi or Pho since their dishes are a part of their identity.
In conclusion, both perspectives offer valuable insights into the issue at hand. While some believe fast food is a beneficial trend for people with busy lifestyles and lack of money, others, including myself firmly believe that fast food is detrimental and traditional food is more healthy and delicious, it also the opportunities in culture outweigh the negatives if you can advertise traditional food. By having changed lifestyles, we can mitigate the negative impacts of fast food on our lives and harness traditional benefits
