Some people believe that the only area where we can build our new houses is the countryside. But others believe that constructing new homes there may cause the destruction of the environment of rural areas, and protecting the countryside has a higher priority than building new houses. I strongly believe that the latter people’s concern is more crucial.
Constructing skyscrapers may help to preserve our bucolic nature. Thanks to advanced technology, architects may be able to design apartment structures in order to assign more space to more people. Therefore, by using less space on Earth, they may help more people to have a house. This kind of movement – building multi-storey buildings – conserves the environment in rural areas and controls the overpopulation that countries encounter in these modern times. Thus, we may have some locations to which we can go on a trip to the countryside and enhance our feelings if we become frustrated with dwelling in cities. But if engineers destroy the bucolic by building too many houses, then we will not have other spaces to free ourselves from crowded and noisy cities.
Some may argue that building new houses in the countryside is the only choice we have because there are so many spaces where we can build our new homes. However, this is not the only option we have, because nowadays engineers may be able to construct skyscrapers that can provide more spaces and houses for people. Having said that, if anyone wants to build houses in rural areas, they should respect nature and build their houses organically. They can construct their houses in harmony with nature, for example, without demolishing lakes and trees.
In conclusion, deciding where we can build new houses for people is one of the essential decisions that engineers have encountered nowadays. By using new technologies, they may be able to construct more apartments to address the overpopulation and help to protect the countryside.
