I am of the strong opinion that financial independence affects their lives positively,and the influence of gender equality will be discussed in the following paragraphs.
One of the main arguments in favour of this trend is that economic status really reflect couples’ lives. In reality, husband and wife earn double income for the family can advance their life quality.It allows them to reach their goals quickly. For instance,they can work together to achieve the aim to buy a house with great views and luxury kitchen after few years, or register the best kindergarten around the town for children to achieve better education.In short,it is generally agreed that economic freedom is really built on partners’ productive lives.
In addition to this, we can see men and women acquire equal opportunities nowadays in the workforce,compared with the past.The number of iron ladies increased drastically in the 21st Century.More and more women have gained a incredible results and played a key role in the workplace, some of them have been become the boss or the supervisor in the company. In this case, i tend to believe that there is a positive trend that men and women have the change to showcase their ability.
In conclusion,I strongly agree that spouses have equal responsibilities to contribute to the income in the family, it brings positive effect of a better life and abandons outdated gender mindsets/stereotypes.
