Having a sense of responsibility can play an important key role in the marriage. earning a living for the family is the joint duty of couples nowadays according to some. I strongly believe that it is a good idea as wife and husband can provide higher standard of living. In today’s materialistic world, there exists the variety of new or unreal needs which in turn need to earn more money than the past. Both spouses should work in order to meet various needs which result to have higher standard of living, including having luxury houses, the latest models of car, fashion, luxury trips, high levels of ceremonies, have tertiary education for themselves and their children. Couples, also in today’s competitive world are nurturing their talent and the majority of people are applying for job. Indeed, we are facing with less job situations and it is possible that one of them losses their job, if one of them has income, they can provide their basic needs
However, these day wife’s have quite a few duties in houses like waking up before others making breakfast, doing chores, cleaning, look after for children, cooking, doing their husband’s work, needing to rest during the day and they are pressed for time due to they cannot work out of home. Having said that, I believe unless remote jobs that can be done in the home environment next to housekeeping.
In conclusion, I think that regardless of that money is an integral part of life, working both spouses can provide materialistic needs while some argued that wife’s spend lots of energy to keep house.
