Shopping has become a part of entertainment instead of just buying things in different parts of the world. Due to various facilities offered by the shopping malls such as restourant, cenima hall and gamming facilities, shopping has become an enjoyble activities. In my opinion, this is largely a positive development, as city people do not get the opportunities to pass their quality time due to lack of enough parks in the city.
Nowdays shopping malls offer a lots of opportunities for the visitors and buyers to be more entertained than before. This is because restourant chain, cenima hall and gamming facilities have become a means of attarcting more people into the shopping mall. As a result, more and more people are coming to shopping mall and consequently their sales are increased day by day. For example, Bashundha Shopping mall has ‘Togi Fun World’ which become one of the main attraction for children as it offers various fun activities such shooting and climbing and swimming. In addition, ‘Star Cinaplex’, the largest cenima chain in bangladesh, is situated in Jamuna Future park, a shopping mall in dhaka. Therefore, shopping malls are offering more facilities for entertainment to attaract people, which increases their sales.
This is largely a positive development as more opportunities of entertainment for city people have been intorduced since large cities lack enough field and park for its population. Shopping mall could be a better destination for city people as a form of entertainment destination. In the past people would go to picnic when they could get a vecation but at present, people go to shopping mall in their vecation due to increasing entertainment value they provide.
In conclusion, because of increasing entainment value people tend to go shopping mall more than ever since it offers various facilities such as restorent, cenima hall and gamming facilities. In my opinion, it is largely a positive development as large cities can not provide enough facilities to its people to be entertained.
