Universities’ fees are expensive, which is a burden for students who cannot afford them. I am inclined to believe that universities should be accessible for everyone regardless of being poor or rich.
Discrimination between students is unacceptable. Everyone has the right to quality education. There are students who have talents in various fields, but do not have the chance to learn more about what they are good at, and have their dreams crushed. When I was a student, I always wanted to get into a well-known university to study a specific field, but I could not enroll due to its high costs, which is why I gave up and did not pursue my dream.
If universities were free, society would benefit greatly as the number of people working would increase, and the amount of uneducated people would diminish by a huge percentage. Everyone would be happy because unemployment would not be a problem anymore and students would not have to pay for fees or take out loans to enroll in universities. Society would flourish with so many skilled individuals. Everyone would know their work very well and be professionals in their fields.
In conclusion, universities being available for free is a benefit for everyone and no one can deny how it will benefit industry and research. No one would complain anymore about education being not for the poor and there would not be any accidents from uneducated workers. This is the best way to solve many problems we are facing in this era.
