Teens in the certain parts of United States are not allowed to step outside their homes at a specific time during night except when they are in a company with adults. I, personally believe that the above-mentioned restriction is crucial, because youngsters cannot escape the criminals on their own, and it creates fear among robbers when they see people walking in a group.
To begin with, young students are incapable to run away from the thieves when they walk alone. Usually, during night hours robbers chase people for robbery in a form of group, due to which these helpless teenagers have to be obedient, and are not strong enough to retaliate. As a result, they become victims of robbery. For Instance, recently in the Ottawa city, a 12th grad male had to empty his pockets when local group of junksters confronted him with arms.
In addition, offenders feel inconfident to chase group walkers, this is because they are scared that they will have to face the strong action from the victims. Moreover, adults are aware of the skills to confront these offenders. To exemplify, after Sweden has imposed night restrictions that people can only walk on streets in a group, crimes have significantly reduced by 50 percent.
In conclusion, I am in a favour that high-school aged people should never walk alone in the streets during night except if they have an adult with them, this is because they are not very strong to avoid criminals, and adults ensure the safety of the group by scaring the approachers.
