Band 4+: In some countries, an average employee is legally obliged to retire at the age of, say 55 or 60, while in others, like Japan, people can work until they are physically and mentally fit to perform duties. What is the system prevailing in your country? Until what age should people be allowed to continue in salaried jobs?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Almost all the developed and developing nations have a written policy of retirement age, while in Japan old age has not impacted on people’s employment because of people are physically and mentally fit. Old people have vast range of experience compare to other age due to that the productivity of employee has surged if they are healthy.

In my country, the government has a policy of fix years of working, for an example, if a person joined as teacher, he can serve for 30 years fix. This policy can be taken place because of the government might be recruit the new generation for same position time by time. According to me, this is indispensable to give employment to the younger people, which has wide range of knowledge of new technologies but they are lack of the experience and stability. Whereas, an older one has years of experience as well as they are familiar with flow of the process, so they work with stability.

Additionally, an age of people cannot decide that they are mentally and physically fit. For example, nowadays, the younger people are more depressed compare to older one, as well as sedentary lifestyle increases health problems. Using a mobile phone whole day leads to adult phycological illness such as mood swings, anxiety and depression due to that they are not able to focus on work properly and decrease productivity.

To Conclude, if an old people are healthy then they should be allowed to work as long as they want, it is beneficial for government and corporate, because in this modern era, younger people have many health issues compare to older one due to food, mobile usage and sedentary life.

While there are many positive effects in the implementation of strict water usage, I firmly disagree with this approach.

Admittedly, there are merits associated with the approach in strictly regulating the use of water. The first reason would involve the wasteful use of water in people’s routine. In many developed countries around the world, fresh water often costs a really cheap price, in which people will often capitalize this aspect to recklessly waste tons […]
