There is no doubt that health care and education are play a crucial role in shaping socity. These days in some countries these public sectors are partly covered by government. While by funding some cost of these sectors they will allow private organizations to compete with them, I believe all should have equal access to the health care and education because they are basic human needs and should be provide totaly free.
On the one hand, by providing some cost of the health care or education, they will give a chance to other private organizations way to compete with public hospitals and other education centres such as schools and collage. This is because when government covers half or some of the price for education people still need to pay some amount of the tution to study and this leads to choose whether to study at the private schools or in public school because they will still pay some amount of money to study in both of them. As a result it leads to healthy competition between private and public sectors and it helps to improve overall country’s health care and education system.
However, by providing equal access to all citizens governmeny will remove the border between rich and poor. This is because nowadays most households live from paycheck to paycheck and they can’t simply afford health care or provide their children with basic education. If government provides free access to these sectors they will not worry about health care or their children’s study they don’t need to stay ill or uneducated because of the money, children from low-income family can still stay successful. For example, the harverd univiversity gives chance to all students regardless their households situation, if the student has potential to become successful they will provide these student with all basic needs for free of charge.
In conclusion, Although funding some of the price of education and health care helps to improve quality of the health care and education in the country, I believe these sectors should be free of charge because they are basic human rights and all should have equall access to them.
