On the other hand, it is argued that the bad consequences to the environment when transporting food between countries can be considered as a serious drawback of this issue.In fact, a variety of food transportation from all over the world involves a long distance, which is the main cause of air pollution and global warming. For example, transporting food requires involves a lot of trucks and ships, which releases a huge amount of fuel consumption and these fuels generate carbon dioxide and greenhouse emissions.
