Nowadays, there are many teenagers working part-time jobs although they are still students, and it has become a controversial topic. Some people think that young people had better focus on their studies instead of studying and working at the same time. From my point of view, not only is this idea important and beneficial but also harmful for some following reasons.
On the one hand, a part-time student has many benefits. Firstly, students can learn how to arrange time to be able to combine their studying and earning money. Secondly, when students earn money, they can help pay for school, living expenses, and personal needs without the help of parents. From there, they will learn how to be independent and financially responsible. Thirdly, teenagers can gain important skills, good habits, and real-world experiences from their jobs.
For instance, students will improve their communication and conflict-resolution skills during work. Finally, students will realize the value of money and become more appreciative of it.
On the other hand, teenagers face challenges when studying and working at the same time. Balancing work and study can leave little time for rest, hobbies or fun. In addition,if a student works too much, it might affect their studies and school performance. Especially, over working can lead to stress and poor health.
In conclusion, having part time job can gives students more experience and help them develop skills. It is important that each student need a schedule manage study time and working timeP
