Engaging with western culture and only open in the day hours can be held accountable for this concern. Several constructive measures can be taken to curb this phenomenon.
Considering the numerous reasons, why there is declining the visit of art galleries among communities, the first and foremost one is that most people especially youngsters may attract with western culture. They may usually want to visit pubs and clubs for enjoying leisure time with friends than spending that time to gain knowledge from these places. Even, they may adopt foreign culture, and forget traditional culture. In addition, an another factor is that such places only open in the daytime. In day hours, mostly people are working, they may not time to visit there. The Virasat-e-Khalsa Museum, for example, in Punjab, only open from 9 am to 6 pm. During these hours, most individuals are busy in their work. Due to it, the number of visitors are decreasing day by day. Therefore, owing to these causes, people may do not like to explore such destinations.
To curb this current issue, myriad actions can be applied. Firstly, the government needs to decrease the price of entry ticket so it can be affordable for everyone. It would not only an effective for visitors but also for such sites because they can allocate that funds on renovation of such kind of places. Moreover, schools may also make school trips in there due to low cost of ticket price. What is more, the state should be included more amenities in museums, art galleries, and exhibitions, such as offering laser shows, providing information throughout documentaries and films. Availability of such innovations, more and more people may visit there due to getting information via various ways. If the high authority offers such things to viewers, it would create passion to visit there among people. Hence, these steps can be really helpful to mitigate this present issue.
To sum up, it can be stated that new generation may disconnect with traditional culture, so they are not likely to visit these buildings is definitely a serious magnitude. Even, it is happening due to countless factors. If government should be taken some remedies, this issue can be mitigated. Hopefully, things will change in future.
