In some countries, some conventional occasions and cultural festivals have lost or are losing its existence. The causes behind this trend are digitalization as well as less interest, and some crucial steps should be applied immediately to save those cultural diversities.
There are numerous reasons why some cultural festivals disappearing day by day. To begin with, digitalization is one of the major drawbacks behind this situation. In this era, the globe turn into a global village. The development of the technology and science goes crazy nowadays. For that reason, people are too busy now. People doesn’t have enough time to celebrate those so called old fashioned festivals. Some also argueing that those festivals have no value. All the humans are running behind technology.Without some exception, most of the people does not care about at all. For example, a decade ago, people are willing to enjoy “Nobanno” in Bangladesh, but now it is now celebrated in only some rural villages. Another reason is that people are less willing to do those activities. Increasing of clubs is another cause. People have no concern about their culture as well as their cultural roots.
Some steps can secure those festivals from extinction. One major solution is awareness. People are unaware about those cultural activities because of no experience and no touch with those. The older people should express their thoughts and relations. They need to raise awareness to awake people. Government need to involve to save their cultural heritage. For instance, cultural contents can make not only awareness but also help to understand the value. Another solution is it should be involved in education. By doing it, children can learn it and attached with it from childhood.
In conclusion, some types of rural culture has been disappearing today.There are several causes but have solutions too. People awareness and addition in education sectors can help to save those heritages and keep secure those cultural diversities.
