Technology has become an integral part of our daily lives helping us to achieve tasks in an easy and tedious way .It is often thought by people in the future ,the world will be developed in a technological way where automobiles such as cars ,buses, and trucks will have only passengers seated without a driver to ride them to various places. In this essay , I am going to outline the advantage and disadvantage the driverless cars helps the environment.
Fierstly, the major reason is human error where people drive the vehicle in a careless way by consuming alcohol , performing unprofessional bike stunt ,using mobile phones that leads to accidents loosing a life which affects their family in a bad way, whereas the machine can reduce these errors .Moreover the riders cross the minimum speed limit by speeding, not abiding the traffic rules and signs this will lead to road congestion and cause fight between the human beings. Furthermore the government authorities should fine heavily to the citizens for breaking the traffic laws .For instance: In Bangalore the accidents rate is going up as every year passes ,due to the driving license assigned to youngster who will ride the motor vehicles in a careless way.
Secondly, this kind of technology can cause loss of jobs. Especially for cab drivers, railway men and also bus drivers as they are the bread winner of the family this may fall a great impact on their families financially and mentally. On the other hand there will be a great loss for travel agencies where they need to shut down well known companies such as ola ,uber if the technological appliances such as sensors and robots handle the drivers seat. However it is also a threat to human lives when a machine handles the automobiles. For example :In Germany and France there are sensor cars where the passenger just need to choose location in the map and they will be dropped to the chosen destination.
In conclusion, the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages that is there will be reduction in human loosing their lives along with that the government should also responsible to punish humans not following the rules , while the machines can also effect the human.In my opinion driverless car can be a major threat than manually drivin a vechile
