Over the last ten years, the number of flights around the world has been grown. This situation provoked by different reasons and has an ambiguous meaning. In this essay I will try to explain my point of view about this issue.
One of the main cause of an increased popularity of the air travels is that they have become more affordable and cheap. You just can quickly touch your screen couple of times an here is your ticket. Consequently, amount of people using this opportunity to visit new places, friends and colleges or to relocate for study or work. In addition, in current post-pandemic reality remote job has become very common, which in turn led to a greater mobility of the employees and appearing phenomena such as digital nomadism. These type of workers are constantly moving long distance in short period of time and the aircrafts one of the frequently used vehicle among them.
In my opinion this tendency has its own benefits and drawbacks. On the one hand, the opportunity to trip as fast as possible around thousands cities and countries undoubtably promotes to building strong connections between communities and countries and develops cultural exchanges. The crucial part of processes for varieties professionals, for instance scientists and artists, based on the permanent movement among events and institutions over the world. From the other side, so often exploiting of air carriers had triggered serious ecological problems including electromagnetic, noise and air pollutions. From this perspective, the freedom to roam turns to an ominous omen of upcoming disasters.
To conclude, it’s clear that airplanes have become more popular transport. Lots of humans have a need to journey for many reasons and got the possibility to do it as never before. However, from the environmental impact side, such hyperactivity seems excessive and dangerous.
