Some assume that with the availability of information on the Internet in modern society, educational institutions are considered unessential. From my perspective, I completely disagree with this view due to the importance of schools in people’s development and the associated risks with learning through digital platforms.

To commence, schools play a crucial role in the holistic development of individuals by providing proper guidance and structured educational systems. Not only do students acquire academic knowledge during classes, but they also gain deeper insights into life lessons. Beyond teaching subjects, educators also give students proper guidance to shape their moral understanding and improve interpersonal skills through organizing activities that promote cooperation and public speaking. Furthermore, the academic curriculum provided by educational institutions is often well-structured, enabling students to grasp various knowledge, including basic concepts and valuable information, through regular assessment such as mid-term exams and final semester tests. This approach will result in effective learning among individuals and make it less struggling to comprehend knowledge.

However, learning through the information spreading on the Internet can pose several drawbacks. First, some unreliable sources publish inaccurate information to create controversy on the digital platform to attract more viewers. Exposure to such contents on social media networks may contribute to misinformation among people in society, which negatively affects individuals’ understanding. To illustrate, those without a solid foundation in comprehension may be easily misled by false news such as political issues posted on news outlets to spark debates online. In addition, the online sources often fail to provide appropriate knowledge for students based on their academic level compared to schools. This may result in inefficient learning and an increased effort to comprehend complex concepts.

In conclusion, I completely disagree with the opinion that schools can be replaced by the Internet sources due to their crucial role in shaping children’s behaviors and providing structured educational systems.
