Nowadays, people tend to leave their houses to complete their studies or to find job opportunities, instead of remaining in the same place for their entire lives, like in the past. Indisputably, people who move into a different city end up being separated from their loved ones. Nevertheless, this brings remarkable advantages to people, such as being more independent and having more economic power. Thus, I completely believe that this is a positive development.
On the one hand, in order to have more job and study opportunities people often need to move from their hometowns. As a result, they become more distant from their family and friends. Consequently, they could potentially feel loneliness and sadness, leading to depression. To illustrate, statistics show that the majority of depression cases correspond to people who live alone and away from their families.
On the other hand, living in many different places is beneficial for the economy and self-growth. People who are continuously moving are trying to have better life conditions. Moreover, when they move into a new place, they need to rent or purchase a new house, increasing the local economy. In addition, having a particular home helps people to become more competent as individuals because they learn how to do personal management, daily basis tasks, laundry and cooking. For instance, students who study abroad are more likely to be more independent when compared to people who study in their birth city.
In conclusion, due to job and study opportunities people are living in various places, and I wholeheartedly opine that this is a positive development, buttressed by the advantages stated in this essay.
