These days, they are more likely to be motivated by prize money and the opportunity to be famous. While medalists in the past used to be inspired primarily by the win the match or to made a new world records, however, nowadays, many champs are more likely to be motivated by the high salary, and becoming more recognizable.

One major cause is that people want to have high salary, which is so important for these days, especially for gym or for some proteins which will support their training. Moreover, most athletes go training for developing their physical abilities. Furthermore, many sportsmen represent brands thank to which they also receive money and also become more popular. That is why many people representing many famous brands like nike, adidas, and another famous sport brands.

Another effect of this attitude is that sports are becoming more about business less than competition. Many athletes consentrate on advertising and sponsorships instead of improving their skills. For example, football player Allahverdiyev spend more time promoting brands on social media rather than training hard. As a result, the quality of sports can decrease because athletes are more interested in money rather than true competition. This change affects young people, as they may see sports as a way to become rich instead of as a way to develop discipline and teamwork.
