In recent years, It is argued that tourists have to take more care about the environment of the places and nation’s culture that they travel to and be a “responsible tourists , while other claim that it is impossible to be that good behaviour. I completely agree with first the opinion as it demonstrates people’s respectful for country they visit and show their good upbringing.
On the one hand, being “responsible tourists ” is hard because many individuals do not aware of the countries’ culture that they visit to and can cause some challenging. Consequently, they can annoying local citizen, making them to dislike tourists. For example, in Japan there is a huge difference between European traditions and normal behaviour. Japanese citizen more quiet and polite, while European tourists can talk to the phone in public places or listen loud music outside without thinking about others. As a result, it can cause sort of misunderstanding from local people.
However, the increasing number of foreign people who tend to preserve the environment of the area and honor culture, where they travel is such a good idea. People do not litter and conversely help to maintain places clean, creating comfort atmosphere to relax and unwind for both tourists and residents. What is more is that the relationship between tourists and local people can be strained by showing first ones respect regarding culture and traditions, which prevent misunderstanding and hating. For instance, more tourists campaign promote diligent behaviour in foreign countries to avoid negative situations.
In conclusion, although it is complicated to remove all bad habits that tourists have during travelling it is still important to change it and think about how you act in a foreign country
