Another advantage is that students who are struggling to keep up can easily access information and can work with their mistakes through online personal assistants without the involvement of teachers. On the other hand, one of the main disadvantages is that many students use their laptops for entertainment purposes, like playing video games in class, recording a video, or sitting in a live stream. This disrespect towards the authority of teachers leads to a mass decline in the overall literacy rate. There are many complaints from teachers to children that cannot properly read a sentence since their attention span is shortened due to the addiction to gadgets. Moreover, the biggest issue most teachers are forced to face is that all the assignments and homework is being done through AI. Despite the strict rules that were set up to forbid using AI in writing essays, children barely register the strict protocols.
