It is believed that men and women were born with different characteristics and abilities. Therefore from the stone age to the twenty first century the society has allowed them to occupy the field that they descend to. Though gender equality is widely encouraged, the stereotype of work places still remains the same like nurse or teacher posts are for women whereas scientific field is the kingdom of men.
In my personal opinion, apart from physical & biological differences, men and women are capable of doing the same job. However, when we are at young age, our environment teaches us boys are good at mathematics and girls are good at languages. Even when we choose the career, we are suggested that women should choose teaching and taking care of others, but men are suitable for engineering and politics, etc. If we give a glance at the advertisement, we will see that the restricted announcement such as it is for a man or a woman.In fact, the traditional way of thinking should no longer exist. Women are taking in the place of men predominated world as a national leader, a successful business person, a military officer, a pilot,etc. Interchangeably, males also hold the majority of maternal field as a nurse, teacher, etc.
In conclusion, I don’t think it isn’t right to identify which is man’s world or which is women’s. I strongly believe that anyone has the right to choose the job they enjoy as long as they have the qualities to do it.
