Nowadays, environmental problems are at the top of the agenda worldwide. The world is getting worse and worse. The population of humans is increasing significantly. As a result, we consume everything in the world and pollute the air and water of the world. Scientists warn people to protect the world, but most people love to travel in their private cars without thinking about its bad effects. I believe that traveling in our private cars is bad for the environment for two reasons.
First of all, traveling in a private car causes pollution. Private cars release bad gases into the atmosphere. These gases, such as CO2, are bad for the environment. There are a lot of private cars on the roads, so the amount of bad gas in the atmosphere is increasing. This threatens our health and damages the environment. That’s why we need to use public transportation.
Secondly, we consume numerous sources while traveling in our private cars. When we travel in our private cars, we use petrol, water, oil, and electricity. Petrol is not renewable. Such sources are vital for our future, so we should pay attention to the use of these sources. We have to use natural sources efficiently. If we do not consider the use of natural sources, most living beings will not have access to these sources.
On the other hand, there are many people who believe that traveling in our private cars is not bad for the environment because most cars have filter systems to reduce harmful gases, and the technology of cars is developed by engineers not to damage the environment. They may have a point. However, they seem to neglect that the balance of the environment is crucial for our future and health.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that traveling in a private car is bad for the environment. We are attached to the environment, so we need to protect the environment. There are numerous measures to protect it. The most important way to protect it is not to travel in our private cars unless it is necessary. We all should struggle to protect the environment hand in hand.
