In the current digital age, the Internet is considered an indispensable factor in human lives. It has soon become widespread from big cities to the countryside. Some individuals widely debate how convenient life really is, and claim firmly that with the development of the internet, living in the countryside is as of great convenience as in a big city. Some others, nonetheless, oppose this idea.
From my own viewpoint, it is inaccurate to state it is both comfortable to live in rural and urban areas while there is some truth supporting that the Internet makes things a lot easier, it is unlikely to live a convenient life in the countryside as in the city. As can be seen in here, where economy is not developed considerably, people find harder to satisfy their need in various aspects such as shopping, transport,… This can be illustrated by a popular situation that these people find not easy to shop online because it takes a cost of money for transport from place to place. Furthermore, in order to use better network, the money paid is not that little. And there are other more unpleasant things compared to life in the city.
Despite my statement of disagreement above, we must acknowledge that the Internet is significantly useful for residents in the countryside. As the Internet grows, they may contact and keep in touch with their friends and loved ones from afar. Also, they can have fun with amusement applications on the Internet and do shopping without directly coming to shops.
In conclusion, while living in the countryside is not as convenient as in a big city with the Internet, I must admit that the Internet has improved our lives a lot wherever we live.
