Have you ever seen a barista or cashier? Most of them are still reenager / an adult that studying at university- Thus, it’s common for teenagers to do part-time job nowadays. This makes people give their opinion and there are pro and cons.
To begin with the pro, I think we all know what is the main reason for teenagers to do part-time work, which is financial problems. If they don’t work, they will not study in the school university, because they don’t have enough money to pay it. Moreover, education is one of the most important things for teenagers to get a better future life. In addition, doing a part-time job is more flexible as they can choose the best time to take a job. What’s more is teenagers can get a lot of new experience by doing part-time work, such as networking, new skills, responsibility, etc
On the contrary, according to B2 textbook, Students are busy people. They have a lot of assignments and asserments. By working a part-time job, it will increase student activity, hence they will become overwhelmed with a task. Personally, the actual priority for teenagers is accomplished their task in school well. Therefore, they should prioritize studying to working. Even though they don’t have enough money, but i believe that there are another option to be able studyingin the school. For instance, the goverament provide a scholarships for the poor person as well as an accomplished person. In this care, teenagers don’t have to work for paying their tuition fee.. Instead of working a part-time job, I will prefer studying harder to get a better result. Above all, Studying must be the teenager’s first priority..
On the whole, it will be better if teenager don’t have to do a part-time work. To sum up, it doesn’t mean teenager can4 work a part-time job, nonetheless you should manage your time effectively. In my opinion, you can make a timetable/ study planner, so you don’t be overwhelmed. In conclusion, it’s not a bad idea for teenagers to do part-time work while they are studying, however there are another better options to do.
