For instance, there are various ways to apologize in different languages, such as “excuse me”, “sorry”, “I beg your pardon”, and others. However, using these phrases incorrectly can lead to misunderstandings and awkward situations. It is evident that migrants lacking proficiency in the local language often find themselves in police stations, despite possessing all the necessary legal documents in accordance with European regulations. Furthermore, this linguistic barrier also gives rise to a plethora of social issues, including isolation, discrimination, and inequality. It is easy to envisage the isolation experienced by individuals who are unable to effectively communicate with the local populace due to language barriers.
