The biggest advancement in technology with the introduction of the internet. This innovation has changed our lives dramatically. One of the benefits of the interent is the ease of communication, it allows us to stay connected with our loved ones who reside in various parts of the world. It is also easier to stay entertained with the help of technology due to availability of televisions and countless OTT platforms. Not to forget the different social media sites that keep us up-to-date with the ongoing trends.

Technology has alleviated our daily struggles such as satalite navigation, which can help us reach our destinations with ease. Other such example is the use of vaccum cleaners, devices that clean our homes in minutes.

In the recent years, there has been the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI is considerted somewhat magical by the common man due to its astonishing capacity to finish a task in seconds, something that would take a human being hours to achieve. As mind blowing as it sounds, AI comes with a risk, the risk of replacing human beings at our jobs, and thus driving humans apart. Such a similar disadvantage of technology is the ease of communication, while we can easily connect with our friends and relatives in other parts of the world, we may be ignoring our loved ones who are near us. Humans are so engrossed in their devices these days, that they tend to forget their enviornment, hence resulting in a disconnect.

While technology has its benefits, it can be harmful if used in excess. It is essential that we understand the distadvantages of over-use of technology and draw a line where necessary.
