Most of the governments believe that the economic progress is their main goal, while some people argues that other types of progress are equally important for a country. The economy is the most significant need for a country because of the contribution of development activities. However, other progress such as environment and social also to be considered equally with economy. Therefore, I believe that along with economy other types of progress are nessecary for a country. This essay examines both views and illustrates the reasons for my opinion.
Firstly, nowadays the econmic growth of a country is highly recognised, whereas others are not. The high economic countries effectively invlove in the development works, results increase in industrialisation, leading to notable employment oppurtunities. For instance, Thailand is a well known tourist place, enhanced their shops and resorts with the high economy through tourist peoples, provides employment for local peoples. Thus, economic progress of a country results in various developments.
Secondly, in addition with economic progress, social and environmental progress also plays an impact role for a country. Particularly environment, it is the initial thing that government need to focus. The poor environmental conditions of a country results increased global warming, which causes dramatic climate change, soil erosin, and drought. This affects both living and non-living things. For example, in Chennai, due to high population the construction of buildings occupied the lakes and rivers, leading to floods during the rainy season.
Finally, by considering the effects and causes that are created through environmental peogress and the benefits of the consideration of other progress, i strongly believe that other types of progress are equally important for a country.
