In today’s competitive world, it is crucial for majority of employees to follow training programs in order to remain competitive. While some people think that individuals should pay themselves for courses, others oppose this, prefering courses provided by business companies instead. I think that it is more companies’ responsibbilities to develop professional skills of their workers; however, employees should also take the initiative of self-investment.
On the one hand, self-investment can have some advantages over those training programs conducted by companies. Firstly, by paying for their own training, individuals have more control over the skills they laern. This can lead to graeter job satisfaction, without a pressure from companies. Secondly, those skill enhancement courses that not include company guidance are in most cases having a better quality, allowing people to learn more productively. Additionally, employees who chose self-investment over the company training are having the higher chanses of reaching successful results in developing important for their jobs skills.
On the other hand, it is in companies’ interests to provide a high-level training and research programs for their employees, in order to stay in competitive perspective. For instance some large companies such as Google and Amazon supply ongoing training programs for their employees to ensure they remain at the cutting edge of technology. By doing this, businesses maintain a competitive workforce, which directly contributes to their success. Moreover, training programs that arranged by companies usually have better accessibility due to its cheaper price or some programs can be totally free.
In conclusion, i state the point that companies should offer courses for their stuff. Nevertheless, it is in individuals’ concerns to seize the opportunity to undergo a courses apart from companies.
