Nowadays, numerous parents protect their children from danger. In outside there are so many harmful things. This circumstance leads to parents become more protective. However, to exaggerate acting protectively might cause their children can’t bear with their problems easily. From my point of view, parents overprotective because of modern world dangers and I don’t think justified in doing this because children dependent their adults.
One of the substantial problem why parents become more protective is there hazards in the world.Parents reckon that the modern world is more dangerous than ever before. For example, contries which has increased accidents such as car accident, parents might paranoid in order to take their children out. They presumably think that it could happen to their kids and even they may not even allow them go outside. Moreover, even if there is no danger outside, there is danger inside too.For instance,if there is a technology tools such as computer or phone, children may be exposed to cyberbullying.Hence, their adults not let them use their any technological tools to protect from bullying. As a result, being overprotective is caused by other’s behaviors and prohibitions keep children away from these negative behaviors.
This parent’s conduct have a disadvantage on their minor’s when they become adults such as the fact that they rely on their mother and father constantly. It hinders children’s problem-solving skills, self-confidence and decision-making ability. For illustration, parents who prohibit everything, children can’t experience.Experience is the key to learning, so it is very important. Those who cannot even learn from experience at a young age, they cannot be independent in their later years. However, a certain level of protectionism is justified because of the risks of the internet and social media.parents can control what they kids do on the internet. In consequence, overprotection prevents children from being free and developing some of their skills but it should be in moderation.
In conclusion, although it is understandable that parents want to protect their children from the dangers of the modern world, being excessively protective can create more harm than good. Children who are not given the chance to act independently struggle to cope with difficulties when they become adults. Therefore, parents should balance protection with freedom so that children can develop resilience, confidence, and the ability to manage their own lives.
