In the contemporary era there is a widespread belief that the stringents of education face terminal decline especially on literacy and numeracy. This essay will outline the reasons behind these problems and provide solutions.
To begin with, the first reason would be the lack of tremendous technology that improves the learning process in the class. This happens because the teachers still use some conventional ways of teaching tools. There has been research that technology plays a pivotal role in increasing the students ability on numeracy. This will provide the students with better visualization of it to make them easier to understand. For instance, the use of powerpoint would give a better explanation. To tackle this issue, the councils should allocate the finance to the schools; hence, they would utilize the technology use on their teaching process where this will develop literacy rate.
The second cause would be the lack of parental guidance. Parents should be the ones who always check their students’ activity after the class in terms of recalling what they have studied. If it does not happen then the offspring would not have time to study. To overcome this concern, the guardians should check their children and give them full attention so that they have constant learnings to sharp their skills
